Tax Number - lost!!

I seem to have mislaid my piece of card with my tax number on it.  I used this when I opened a bank account a couple of years ago in Turkey.

Can someone please advise, that if I went to the tax office and informed them of this, they could provide me with a duplicate, or would I have to get a new one?

I haven't seen my card for years - I have a note of the number which is always sufficient - nobody asks to see the card itself. Assuming you don't have a note of the number your bank will be happy to look it up for you.

if you go to the tax office and tell them your name, address and have your passport with you they will look up your tax number and give you a new card.
