Sahibinden property pages
« on: February 07, 2013, 12:42:09 PM »
Looking at rental properties on the Sahibinden website I have noticed the phrase -
Eligible for Bank Credit ?  YES/NO for each individual property - what does this mean ?

Kevin - I looked at Sahibinden regularly for a few months last year before we purchased and I read it as only applying to places for sale but don't dispute that with the vagaries of a "search engine" may also appear on the list of rental properties.

Yeah - I guess you are right - it must be on the default template.
Chances are that most landlords would also sell if only they could !!!!  ;D

Sorry if I sound totally ignorant, but can anyone please tell me what or where is Sahibinden, seen it mentioned several times.  Is there a map available anywhere on here which gives the local area with their location names as I have several times wondered exactly where places are when they are named. :-[

It's not on a map sadler, it's Turkey's Ebay (sort of).

Sadler - Sahibinden is a web site a bit like a very big exchange & mart with an emphasis on real estate / vehicles.

In my opinion it is useful to look at it to see the range and price of properties BUT you also get the impression that there are a lot of "dodgy dealers" on there advertising - so buyer beware.

I also used "gitti gidiyor" last year which is like eBay and I realized what all the blue courier vans were doing buzzing around the streets when our delivery arrived - we will use that site again :-)

Thanks for that, just thought I have seen a destination with a similar name on the front of dolmus's.  Wonder where I would have landed if I have taken a ride on them!  My other request for names of the local areas still stands.  I know where Uzumlu, Citflic etc. are (excuse spelling) it is the different regions? of Fethiye/Calis I don't know. :-[

I think Google Maps is a good place to start - have a look at this link and everywhere that has Mh after it means Mahellisi - which means district or neighbourhood.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bvm=bv.42080656,d.d2k&biw=1024&bih=653&q=map+of+fethiye&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x14c0439b0db6b13b:0x87150704244f70d7,Fethiye,+Turkey&gl=uk&sa=X&ei=ns8UUcv7ErLI0AW3u4CwAQ&ved=0CC0Q8gEwAA

Just remember after seeing the outlying areas to make the map a little larger by clicking the plus symbol on the left to see more of the city neighbourhoods   :)
