Yes I can see astro turf will make a lovely addition to the piles of rubbish left outside the bin.

I think it is good to see the belediye pushing this programme forward.

I know it will take a long time to convert the majority but at least they are trying  :D

Saw on FB someone said that there's labels for the different items to be recycled. But when she peered over  the top it's just one metal bin with no sections. So funny...!

The concept has to start somewhere.

My limited experience in Turkey so far, has shown that they are far less likely to throw away anything that could be repaired or re used in some way.

We are very, very wasteful in the UK - and I confess to being a culprit - as a recent visit to my local recycling centre showed. Children's bikes (replaced by shiny new ones at Christmas) in perfect working order, older computers and so much more.
