Brown ashma inhaler
« on: July 28, 2015, 16:42:35 PM »
Good evening, I have purchased the blue "ventolin" inhaler with no problem. Does anybody who suffers from ashma and uses the brown preventer inhaler give me an idea of what I would need to ask for at the pharmacy. Thank you.

A lot of pharmacists speak English. Just take your current inhaler with you and show them what you want.

The brown inhaler is called Becotide and should be universal.
Good luck

If you are in Fethiye, the chemist more or less opposite the Migros speaks excellent English and is very helpful.

I've found it very difficult to find Becotide here and it's very expensive when you do. I've also found that a number of the alternatives offered don't work for me.

Thank you for all your replys. Will check out Betocide (?), but if it is 80tlr might stick with getting it on prescription in UK. The Ventolin was only 7tlr, £1.70 ish against £8.00 for prescription in the UK.

Many thanks
