London Fireworks review
« on: January 06, 2017, 10:26:09 AM »
My review to See Tickets was rejected. They offered to let me change it and send it again but why should I? It's honest. Here it is:

Stoopo,

Our staff have read your review and value your contribution, but we’re afraid it did not meet all of our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!

Awesome Display!

Four of us decided to attend and booking the tickets was very easy. They arrived in good time and the instructions were very clear and concise. Getting into the display was fairly straight forward and if anything we got there a little too early at 9pm. I would advise going in as late as possible as there was plenty of room to move about. We had a great time mingling with others and the fireworks themselves were everything and more than we expected. Well done London!

The only downside was getting out at the end. There was a massive 'bottle neck' and one or two people decided that pushing, digging people in the ribs and generally being obnoxious was the quickest way to freedom. Happy New year to you too  :) It's not something we would do again but it's also something we are really glad we did and I would advise everyone to go at least once.

Obviously, they only want good reviews.

  Stoop

Submit the first paragraph on it's own and see what happens.           ;)  ;)

The truth is sometimes asked for, but not always wanted.

It was an excellent night but not without problems.

I could have added that although the security was good they did not ask for my photo ID (or anyone else's) as they said they would. "No I'd no entry" was the blurb.

Maybe they vetted everyone from the time we applied to sending out the tickets?

I would advise going as it was brilliant but we stood for three hours when we could have gone in at 10:30. Also getting out was very difficult. I had words with a foreign guy who obviously thought that digging me in the back a few times with has elbow or fist was the way to make friends.

Crossed off the bucket list anyway   :)

Thank you Stoop - you've inspired me to look at this next year.  I've never thought about it before but will definitely give it a go.

Tickets were only £10 this time. You need to register with see tickets and they let you know the dates they go on sale.

Go for the blue area. It's opposite the London Eye and you get a fantastic view.

I have a little video. I'll try to link it.
