What about that new steak place in Fethiye..not sure what it's called. Wordbird went there and gave it a good review.

That's the one Highlander. Lots of lovely meat but also much better than having the usual rice, chips and salad with it.

I wouldn't call it "padded out" it's just different to a regular mixed grill and certainly a nice change.

....and I've never finished a meal there either.  :)

My thoughts entirely Stoop. If you have a mixed grill here it isn't just meat. You have veg and carbs with it as well. Imagine how unhealthy a plate of just meat would be!   ;)

I am sure every restaurant is totally worried about giving it's customers lots of veg and carbs because they are concerned about our health and nothing to do with not giving too much expensive meat.
The usual plate of meat with rice, chips and veg is a good bet and you can see what quantity of meat you are getting.    ;) :o ;D

Remember this is an Eastern Turkey meal and so presentation and content is traditional to that area, which means the plate is lined with a lot of flat bread. Its certainly delicious but a little goes a long way with me. There is always ample and varied meat. I love their casseroles, OMG so yummy! I'd have loved to go to their CBF group taster afternoons that Nichola did but we were never there at those times. I do have the happy photos tho   ;) do they still do that?

I would bet you the meat is as plentiful and better quality than anything you get elsewhere.

Having had mixed grills over there for fourteen years I should know.

Thank you all for taking time to reply and the pics, we went to Aydin Pide in the end and Jack opted for Jimmy's special grill which he really enjoyed good price too, their pides are still good and so is their hot puffy bread!  Defo going to give the Moziac a try next   ;)
