i got a phone call today from neighbours to let me know our property was flood due to a burst pipe:-\
can i just say thanks to baris insurance who came out with in the hour and rang me to put my mind at ease about our property and it contents [^]
it was that bad the water was pouring out of the back door :o
thanks also to my neighbours lynn and john who called baris and the plumber and helped beyond the call of duty,and kingsley and pauline for spotting the water,when they did things could have been worse

That is a good litle network you have there. Sorry to hear about the flood but here is hoping that it can be sorted out without too much hassle.

Oh that's bad news Puma, glad to hear you have good support in situ, hope the damage is not too bad & easily remedied.

I hope you learned a lesson.....Turn the water OFF before you leave!  Sorry to hear you had the problem though. :)

Heather, I've not had an enail from you but I've just turned your water off as I assume that is what you wanted.

thanks everyone for you kind words tried today to ring to find out more but can't get through
T the water was left on so my neighbours could water my garden

Hope the damage is not too bad, Puma.  Wish we'd turned our water off before we left - something else to worry and panic about now that we are back home!
