How lovely and such a quick response, yes a good bunch up the hill here! Well done for those who have helped! Nice to hear good news! :-*
-
Great news, well done to the people who have assisted.
-
How awful for these poor people. So glad they've got some help.
-
So glad about the dogs well done, now I hope the old couple are Ok, house sold from under them? Whats it all coming to?
-
Glad to see you were able to help Andy :)
How are the elderly couple doing? It must have been so very hard on them :(
-
the dogs are being collected on Monday and taken to Mad About Mutts private kennels, they will stay there whilst we find a new home for them :) maybe with a view to sending them to England at a later date to be re-untied with the owners :)
The couple are returning to England in the next week or so :(
-
Hope the dogs can be reunited with them soon, happy to chip in if raising funds might be needed.
I hope they have good support of family & friends when they get back, such a terrible thing to happen to anyone :(
Very best wishes to them.
-
Hope the elderly couple will be alright, must have been a huge shock for them,

Colin and Linda are now both settled in the Uk, sadly Colin is quite ill with cancer now, we have now started an appeal to get their animals back to the UK and we are also planning an event to raise money for the cause.
if anyone wishes to donate please go to our website www.animalaidfethiye.org and press donations for our Paypal account
The two dogs and cat are all doing well and injections and microchipping sorted, probably another three months before they can go.
Thank you :)

Name and shame the builder Tinx so that we can unrecommend him to everyone who might be looking for a builder. Let's put the boot in! >:(
-
Hi Tinks, just asked Luke if he will transfer £20 to AA from his PP acc for me, as I don't have one. Wish I could do more, but..... mortgage to pay etc.
I agree with SteveJ - Those who are responsible need to be Named, I'd like to say '& Shamed', but I don't honestly believe these poor excuses are capable of feeling any Shame!) >:(
I liked the photo's on the Horse Racing event in Fethiye Times today :) Looked like you all had a fab time :)
Best wishes xx

Done !! :)Come on Every one !! :)

So sorry to hear about the couple and their pets, have made a donation through Pay Pal, its not a lot but if we all managed a tenner we could make it more likely that they can be reunited.
-
Thank you everybody :D
-
I have donated £50 as promised, shameful the way this couple were robbed of their life savings, the least we can do is reunite them with their beloved pets.
-
I'd like to contribute but I don't have a PayPal account. Is there an other way?
-
If you go to the site and follow the fundraising/donate Paypal route, there is an option bottom left for non-Paypallers.
-
Donation made - apparently I do have a PayPal account. the things you learn on this forum eh? s'bleedinmarvellous
-
Thanks Steve ;)
-
Andy donation sent from Mrs Ticket and myself, plus Mick and Kim Hayes. Good luck with raising the money.
Perhaps any surplus could be used to hire a couple of good old fashion heavies to visit the builder >:( >:(
-
Thank you very much Mr. and Mrs Tickets ;) :D
-
Donation sent via my husband PayPal today (MSB) - our hearts go out to these people.
-
Thank you Lotty :)
-
Thank you very much to Baz and Kaz for their generous donation :) ;)
-
I have just seen the donors list from Paypal, thank you so much :D, we are now over £500 which is well on the way to getting these animals home asap to be with Colin and Linda Sunshine.
There is a big fundraising party being planned towards end of July, further details to follow shortly ;)
Thanks again

Thanks for the update Tinks :)
How much does it actually cost to 'repatriate' :) furry friends back to the UK?
-
probably looking toward £2,000 for the dogs and cat. :)
-
Expensive, but worth every penny to see this family reunited :)
