Title: air con servicing

hi I have two air con units. one is SEG the other altus.
Can anyone recommend who can do an annual service please.
Also give me an idea what is involved in a service/ just incase I get charged for a service and its not been done properly.
Of course that wouldn't happen in turkey!!!

It is mainly a filter clean that you could do yourself to be fair unless the fins of the cooler are all blocked with dust.
Remove the filters from under the front cover and either hoover them or bang them outside to get the dust off them. Then hoover the dust from around the fins and under the cover.
If it is not blowing cold air any more then the system will need re gassing and checking for gas leaks.
Expect to pay about £20 each maybe a bit more if they need re gassing.

We did our own. Just follow bewva's instructions.

that's good thanks. I have hovered and they are blowing cool air so all good.
my SEG has lights flashing at the moment  but blowing cool air. as I only have had it a year it under guarantee so they service guys are coming out to service tomorrow afternoon. once again thanks x x
