Title: Baking soda/powder

Can anyone tell me the Turkish name for baking soda/powder  and if you can buy it in boxes, not sachets.  If so where can I buy please.

Two different things

Baking powder is Kabartma Tozu and comes in small sachets

Baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) is Karbonat, or Sodyumbikarbona

both can be found in any supermarket..

If you want to buy more than the odd sachet, get friendly with your local baker. They'll be happy to sell it to you as well as some real old yeast if you need it.
