JohnF - here is my response to you post in the Advent Calendar 2018 Fundraiser thread.
With perhaps one exception the Advent Calendar Event has been run, successfully in my opinion, with a starting date of in and around the end of October/beginning of November.
I see no reason to change that but I would be happy to cancel my post and let you run this year's event from the middle of November.
On and for the record.......
