I was talking to the shoe shine man (sorry don’t know his name) and he said he was a painter and decorator by trade. Has anybody used him before as I was thinking about getting some work done on our apartment .

Haven't used him but Mehmet who used to be the chef at Dawn Beach is very good.

Adem is the guy you are talking about.Never had any work done but I know he has been doing it for years and he’s a lovely guy.Likewise Mehmet ex Dawn Beach

Agree Steve about both Adem and Mehmet. Both really nice guys and heard reallt good reports about Mehmet's work particularly.

Adem has painted the outside and inside of our villa. I can highly recommend him.

He made a real mess of the staircases in our apartment block years ago..It took us longer to get the paint of the banisters and stairwells than it did him to paint them.. He must have improved.

He painted the inside of my apartment a few years ago and there wasn't a problem. Out of the two I would say that Adem was more in need of the money than Memhet. He supports his family of four kids on what he can make during the season and the shoeshine business has greatly declined because most people wear trainers or canvas shoes on holiday.

yes good painter our neighbor had him and rob said he done a good job he is a paint inspector so knows when he seen a good job done

Not regarding the ShoeShine Guy, but Memhet painted the whole outside of our complex last year......
All i can say is that it needs doing again this year. Must have used cheap paint watered down!!

Bayram’s painters did work on friends house just over a year ok - paint so thin it didn’t cover original paintwork in many places and mess unbelievable- said they would come back to clear up but never returned. Sad because Bayram was one of the few people we could rely on for good job and good price.

i sure there was a previous post about Adem's painting and decorating all very positive as I recall.
