Yes you do, and get the PS2 in the UK, probably Ebay best - they are way cheaper.

Don't forget to bring a 3 pin to 2 pin socket adapter.

Works fine. If you get a green screen rather than full colour go into menu screen and change video setting to RGB. This happned when we first plugged ours in to a Turkish TV. Great way of keeping me and the boys occupied when not doing other things.

I got a little portable TV from Migros a couple of years ago, I think I paid about £40 for it and it does the job just fine.

HappyMonday if the same region as Turkey does that mean the playstation games in Turkey and DVDs from Turkey will play on the UK playstation?  just thinking of sending some to the UK.

I did read some report that the DVDs will not work as they are copies, is this right?

thanks

They will work, Lozzo.

I know this because I brought my DVD player from the UK, which is the same really, but the other way round.

I am not sure about playing DVD's on a PS2 - I know you can, but don't you need to get a PS2 remote control?

scunnyyo now I am confused?  :-\ ps2 remote control?

now I think I have this right, the games will work if I send them to the UK.  the DVD's is debatable.

This heat has got to the grey matter and taking a little longer to comprehend.
