Having paid for a daytime flight to arrive LGW 8pm on 19th (where our car transfer was waiting) we had an 8hr delay and a night flight and got to Gatwick at 3.30am next day. Penalty incurred with the car people as the delay was extended from 3 hours to 5 hours and then left in the air and got to nearly 8 hours. As Pete started radiotherapy a few hours after getting back to Norfolk we are never but never flying TC again. [

!]I have sent a complaint letter to Airflights (who we bought through) and a copy to TC. Apparently the plane went in for maintenance but never came out so they had to get another one. They had typed "delay" letters waiting for us at the airport so they obviously knew the situation before we got to Dalaman. Do we have any redress here or is it yet again a case of these companies taking our money and "having a laugh"!!! So totally p.o. with all this!
