Sports Personality of the Year 2007

I know he won't win, but for me there is only one winner of Sports Personality of the Year 2007 - Joe Calzaghe.

I wouldn't have voted for Lewis Hamilton anyway (because he hasn't won anything - second IS last) but the moment the said he was moving to Monaco beacuse he didn't wanted to be able to walk down the street without being pestered, that was it for me. I don't suppose the fact that he will pay next to no tax in Monaco had nothing to do with his decision. Don't get me wrong, I would do the same in his position, but I hope I'd be honest enough to admit the real reason.

I gave up on "Sports Personality of the Year" when Nigel Mansell won it.

I guess nobody checked the definition of "personality".

Anyone who watched the women's race for the New York Marathon would choose a different person as winner. Grit, determination and refusing to give up 1st place.

That's my opinion anyway.
