Players Who Had a Huge Future - Then Didn't
« on: February 21, 2008, 21:48:39 PM »
I couldn't really explain the subject in the title box  :-\

What I mean is, players who arrived on the scene that looked like they would have a sensational career, but just didn't make it big.

To "kick off"...

Danny Cadermarteri - seemed to be the coming of something special as an Everton youngster, then just slowly faded away.

John Harley - I thought he had it all when he started at Chelsea - where is he now [:o]

Any others?

In fairness Brolin was till he came to Leeds  :)

Mike Marsh - how's that for a career that continually spiralled downwards...

No no no

Players who started out with great promise but didn't deliver - not players with a good reputation who failed to keep it up at a new club.

Oh bugger it, have it your way :D

Francis Jeffers.  Great at Everton, flopped at Arsenal, and now at Sheffield Wednesday
