the domuses from olu deniz to fethiye do not turn up the mosque road anymore
they carry straight on pass the harbour and up the back road passed the paspatur picking up and dropping of along the way
our driver told us it was good for the dolumuses but the taxi drivers are not very happy
just thought i would let everyone know

It's not just the ones from Oludeniz.

All dolmuses running on the route between Oludeniz, Hisaronu, Ovacik, Kaya Village, Kabak and Faralya, and Fethiye now go straight into town past the mosque. You've now got the option to get off at the PTT or at the entrance to Paspatur.

To catch dolmuses back to the above named destinations you must stay on the one-way system. There are no longer any buses for those destinations using the stops beside the mosque.

Thanks folks.  Very useful information ... especially as I send my renters details about where to get on and off the Dolmus along with maps !.   Looks like I need a "stop press" :-)

Does the Dolmus go right along to the roundabout near the amphitheatre, then 360 degrees round that to come back along the street with all the Banks on it (past Megri Lokanta) then back on its "normal" route past the Fire Station etc.

I assume so but I thought I'd check as a I don't want to give renters a bum steer !

No. They go past Carrefour and then turn left following the one-way system. You can stop them anywhere along that road.

(The Fire Station isn't on the top road anymore)

Thanks KKOB.   Much appreciated.

Note to self.   Must walk around with my eyes more open.  I must have walked past the "fire station" half a dozen times in April and didn't notice it had moved  :-\

The Gulukbasi/Calis Dolmus terminus is still behind the Mosque.

That'll be why we didn't mention the dolmuses on that route in this thread. :D ;):D

That will explain why we managed to catch a bus for Olu Deniz on the back road, I thought it was odd.

Saves on the long walk back then! I take it you can catch the dolly back from the same places? i.e.the road opposite carrefour? And what is the going rate for a dolly trip from Hisaronu to Fethiye these days, and for young children? Many thanks. (I am up this early as I am about to go and pick sister in law up from Manchester after 5 weeks in Ovacik!!)
