consensus was that Koca Calis beach area was tourist land and no Tapus available,although I have heard money buys everything etc. There are empty hotels and failed restaurants all around. The latest casualty is Miss Du Dus which has been gutted and closed at Koca Calis.

Nobody has built houses on Koca Calis Beach Tel and we certainly have our Tapu.

As for Miss Du Dus - who or what is/was that?

Tourist land can be built on, you lease the land for a specific period, you never own it. I only noticed Miss Du Du's last season, was this a 1 season business attempt which failed?

Most of the land around Koca Calis beach is owned. The locals have been buying up plots of it for years, knowing they will make a good profit when the tourist trade expands down to there....

stoop you must remember it it was the bar next to the surf cafe it always had the jeep safari vehicles park out side it at night
it got renamed to Miss Du Dus i only went there once as they had free Canoes on the beach that the kids wanted to try but when the Canoe sunk after ten minutes due to a large hole in the side we never went back
