Fethiyespor Fixtures for 2010

Anyone wishing to catch a Fethiyespor home game for the new season,the fixture list was released today.Fethiye's home matches for the first half of the season are as follows;
5th Sept: Vanspor Belediye
13th "  : Pendikspor
26th "  : Balikesirspor
10th Oct: Elazigspor
20th "  : Kocaelispor
7th  Nov: Sanliurfaspor
17th  "  : Turk Telecom
5th  Dec: Ofspor
15th "  : Eyupspor

This season there are only 2 groups of 18 teams in league 2,with the top sides from both groups being promoted.Teams finishing 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th in both groups go into the play-offs with the winner being promoted also.The bottom 3 teams in each league will be relegated.There is no match with Goztepe this year as they were drawn in the other group,but the best looking fixture is on October 20th when Fethiye play hosts to Kocaelispor who 2 seasons ago were in the Turkcell Super League.

Oh no we go out on 26th sept and back on 9th oct. We always like to go to the matches if possible.

We generally spend Sundays in Calis/Fethiye and my husband has often thought about trying a match sometime - what is the normal kick off time and procedure for tickets and costs? Can you pay at the gate or have to purchase in advance and from where? Thanks.

As KO times and admission prices vary throughout the season its best to check the clubs web page the day before the game (www.fethiyespor.net).Just pay at the gate on the day.

Fethiyespor got their new season off to a good start with fine 2-0 victory in the capital Ankara against Pursaklarspor.

A 2-1 home victory last night against Vanspor and Fethiyespor now sit proudly at the top of the Spor Toto Lig 2 Red Group after 2 games!!Another match at home to come this Monday evening at 20.30.

Fethiyespor dropped 2 home points on Monday evening with a 1-1 draw with Pendikpor.They also drop to 3rd in the league and have an away game this Sunday at Konya who stormed to the top of the league on Sunday with a 5-0 away win!

Anyone planning to go to Fethiyespor's home game with Elazigspor on Sunday dont!The match is to be played behind closed doors as punishment for crowd trouble at the last home game.Fethiye also get a 6,000 lira fine.On a brighter note Fethiye won 1-0 away in Trabzon on Saturday and are up to 4th in the league.

Typical!.  We're coming over on Saturday and decided that we would go to this game.  It was to be our first Fethiyespor game since buying our place in Fethiye.  Thanks for the heads up.
