OK I normally avoid Essex like the plague, but as I am in the fair county of Essex (LOL) tomorrow, I thought I'd do no harm for voting for Essex Man.

Having said that I could easily have voted for the Sutton United player in the hope that it helps push them on with a good FA cup run this season.  A repeat of 1970 would be nice when they played Dirty Leeds, who were in their full pomp at that time, in the Fourth Round - and lost 6-0.

Ah the romance of the FA Cup. ;)

thanks everyone for voting
the winner is
Sutton United striker Leroy Griffiths is the latest Budweiser Player of the Round following his four-goal haul against Dulwich Hamlet in The FA Cup Second Round Qualifying.

The former QPR and Gillingham player earned 31 per cent of the 1,000 votes cast with Southend Manor's Gary Patterson in second place, just 15 votes behind

so gary came 2nd and only lost to an ex pro he can still be a proud boy
