Hi Quackers. Do you know they are looking for a local neighbourhood watch rep for the area? It's on the KC Facebook page. I thought you might be ideal  :)

Something needs doing to help stop all this crime in our area.

Not heard about this but we have seen the Jandarme a few times at night over the last two weeks. Just driving around and showing their presence.

With regard to Fethiye Neighbourhood Watch, this is a private group that has been set up and is in the initial stages. The response has been massive and consists of very experienced people.  It is in accordance with the all the authorities at a very high level.  PLEASE DO NOT JEPORDISE this Scheme with a group that was set up on FB called "Crime in Calis/Fethiye".  It is totally separate. If you want to find out more please attend the next meeting at the Kismet Bar, Fethiye on Fri 2nd August at 10.30am.

This topic has been pruned back to being on-topic, this has resulted in several potentially libelous posts (and others that referred to them) having to be removed.

Once again I will explain that if people have something to say on CBF we are here for you to do just that - to say it. We specialise in the good and the bad. What we are not is a place where topics that start "the latest rumour is..." then vaguely imply that some bloke somewhere in a general area is up to no good...

So finally - If you have something to say about someone, name them, tell us YOUR experience of them, not what you heard, or what people are saying, share the FACTS that are known to YOU.If you can't do all that, try Facebook, they love it over there.

p.s. I'm back.

I don't see much evidence of the forum going to pot, just this little bit of friction - not bad for 11 days  :)

Apologies, something to do with arriving at Manchester Airport at 3am and driving for 5 hours. Sense of humour detector still in suitcase  :)
