John64

Hi folks. In good traditions it's up to the newbie to introduce himself or herself. Well, here I am. My name's John and I was born in 1964 (hence John64, not original but it works for me). Born and raised in the middle of Limburg, a small province in the southeast of the Netherlands. Married to my Nicole for 24 years now and we have a son who turns 22 this friday.

As I'm Dutch my English won't be perfect but I guess it will be well enough to participate on the forum.

I came across the forum checking the internet for news about Çalis. We've been regular Turkey-visitors since 2001. That year we payed our first visit to this beautiful country and that's when the county and the people stole our hearts. Since then we stayed in Bodrum, Gümbet, Kusadasi and several times in Marmaris. We thought Marmaris couldn't be topped until our first visit to Çalis in 2011. We ended up in a small aparthotel called Seastar, run by Ahmet and Leyla, located across the street from the Nevada Su Hotel east from Cahit Begenç Boulevard. Because we had a smash of a holiday we returned this year and we are trying to organise two visits next year.

Feel free to ask questions and where I'm able to, I'll try to put my two cents in.

Welcome to CBF John. Your English, especially your punctuation, is far superior to many of our English members. I worked for Akzo, a Dutch company, and spent many happy times in your country   ;)
