Does anybody know if the removable nuts and bolts on a bike are the same as the uk.I want to bring some accessories over.I also want to bring some new pedals over which are 9/16 over here.Are they the same sizes in turkey.

chances are they are the same - as near all mechanical fastners are now metric.

Changed the pedals on my Turkish bought bike with pedals from  the UK with no problem,wheel nuts however can vary!

We have Turkish bikes (Salcano) with Shimano equipment, 3 yrs old - everything appears to be metric.
