Tablets
« on: June 22, 2014, 10:02:47 AM »
I am thinking of buying a Samsung 3 tablet 8 inch as Mrs B's IPad has no SIM card facility, and although she is happy to share it would make sense to get one we could use Here and in Turkey.
Any technophobe help appreciated   8)

Why do you need one with a SIM

Why do you need one with a SIM
So you can buy a £10 SIM card from Turkcell and get Wi Fi access at our apartment, when on holiday

The device would get blocked better of with a Turkish  mobile WiFi device.I have one and can connect phone iPad and Computer all at the same time and you can take it anywhere no need to find WiWi when out and about.

There is a recent thread running on the Vinn WiFi, have a look. It will support up to five devices.

Turkcell Wifi device was 125tl in big Turkcell shop by Otogar. Best £34 I spent in May. so easy to use I just leave it plugged in and switched on all holiday for instant access.
Dont forget you will need passport to register device.

Interesting - I might just. Being Amazon you would have no problem sending it back if it didn't do a job  :)

No good for ipads and phones though
