Cafe cafe

Has anybody been in Cafe Cafe recently? If so do they still tolerate smoking inside?

They serve the best latte and hot chocolate in Fethiye. The steak sandwiches are also very good.

I went in October Dom for lunch which was lovely, it was my first time trying it and loved it... I don't recall seeing anyone smoking inside but most people were sitting outside and plenty of those people were smoking outside!

It's in the area of Fethiye where the overhead umbrellas are located

We go there quite a lot for lunch when we are in Fethiye.  It is just down the lane from D.&.P.Perfumes.
They do not allow smoking inside and have a sign up to this effect. None of the restaurants now allow people to smoke inside as they are not allowed.

Jacqui,

We have not used Cafe Cafe since last April when people were still smoking inside the cafe.

Most of the offenders where the police and local officials on their lunch breaks. I did ask one of the staff about the smoking but his English deserted him at the time.

It's a very pleasant place in winter with a big log fire burning in the centre of the cafe.

Will be going for morning coffee tomorrow(Saturday) so will see what happens.

Had morning coffee at the cafe cafe today. The inside was closed for refurbishment so we sat outside and watched the world go by. The latte and hot chocolate were as good as ever. We asked about a re opening date and they claim 4 days but this being Turkey one takes reopening days with a pinch of salt.

Don, go up to the new Shopping Centre and try the coffee.  There are a couple of shops.  We like the one opposite the escalator.   They also have a door so you can use an outside table and smoke.  They have the most lovely menu of coffees..hard to choose and each coffee is accompanied by a chocolate spoon...yummy.  The sandwiches and cakes are really good too.  ;D  ;)
