Villa painting
« on: March 17, 2015, 09:10:39 AM »
Need to have my triplex villa painted after the winter.  Can anyone give me an idea of what a sensible price to pay would be, please? Would like it all sorted before I come out in May. All Aspects are quoting 3900TL. Anybody comment on the quality of their painting?
Thanks...

I have a triplex villa and never paid more that 1,000 lira, it will depend on how much repair work they have to do but 3,900 sounds quite a lot, get some more quotes.

Triplex painted by Mehmet. Mentioned on here before.
This included all iron work balcony rails etc. of which there is a lot, we have 5 balconies. 3 men, 2.5 days 1700 TL. Done last spring still looks as good as if done yesterday.

Best to cut out the middle man and go straight to the painter.

Don't expect a better result from someone who quotes a higher price. We recently made that mistake. This is what I have learned so far here. The less you pay , the less you'll regret and in the end you'll have some money left to fix what does not meet your expectations.

Looks like All Aspects prices are as a good as their driving ...... alright, alright only just saying.  ;)

On the substantive question I had my triplex villa done by Bayram's brother a couple of years ago 1700TL, including ironwork. Nice job, but I think he may have been a little dearer than he needed to be, so I'd say on todays prices (and paint has gone up in the last couple of years) 1700 to 2000TL would be reasonable, which I think is confirmed by Saga Louts post,  But you can get it done cheaper, as Lance suggests.  But Lance did the 900TL include paint?
