Mutlu and Helen at Koca Calis

Hallo there, we are visiting Turkey after a break of some years now. Are Mutlu and Helen still at the restaurant in Koca Calis? We used to have  breakfast there sometimes and it was a very pleasant place to visit.

Murlu left last year .last year Helen was very ill ,going Antalya for treatment. Multi is opening a new venue called Ada, after his daughter. Very close to old place. Last week he was waiting for alcohol licence. Hope that helps..

So sorry to hear that Helen has been ill, hope that she is recovering well. We first met her when she and another lady had a lovely coffee and cake business in Hisaronu.

 Mutlu was at the Birilik in Fethiye in those days and introduced my husband to the Iskender Kebab!

I knew the Birlik well,met Mutlu there about 18 years ago ,can you remember Osman Tunc ,the boss? Mutlu got married about 3/4 years ago,sadly they have parted but remain friends,they have a daughter Ada Su .was talking to Mutlu last week in Fethiye  very near the old Birlik. Just awaiting rubber stamp from the police now.take care.

Hi Mick, yes we can remember the boss at the Birlik. It was a good place to go for Turkish food like Menemen, corba and kebabs as well as all the mezes and that rice pudding dish sutlac. Shame it went. 
Sorry to hear that Mutlu and his wife split up. They were just talking about marrying when we left Turkey. Good that they are on friendly terms though. We heard that they had a little girl. We will look out for his business when we come out on holiday if it has opened by then.

Not sure of the exact date but it is some time in June. Hope that Mutlu has some luck by then.
