If you want a good FOREIGN steak Jacqui, go to America, much better than Scotland, the only problem with them is they don't know when to stop putting them on the plate, give you about three 2 inch thick steaks for breakfast.  ;)  :)  :)

Yes, have seen them in the States.  A lot of places there are very proud to advertise foreign steak on their menu... it's name Aberdeen Angus.     ;) :o :-X
We spoke to one restaurant owner and told him we came from Aberdeenshire.  He told us that Aberdeen Angus was the best steak in the world..They even have their own home grown Aberdeen Angus in the States.
Dessie have you tried the steak in Scotland?   ;D

Coo?? The steak will be from a Stirk.  We always have them in the fields near us... neutered bullocks raised for slaugher, killed about 30 months old.
I would not fancy coo's meat, far to tough.
Des we had a lovely winter this year in Scotland, better than lots of the English weather.  One day a smattering of snow then nothing for the rest of the time.  Uggs hardly got an outing at all.

Always been a fan of The Brothers restaurant, they do a breakfast for a smaller appetite which just suits me, and their desserts are delicious! Cant wait to sample them very soon.

I live in Aberdeen and prefer a good Kobe Steak above any other.

Japanses Steak??  Yes, we tried it, it was awful.
Get your Scouser self up to Bert Fowler's Butchers in Strichen and try his steak.. you will never need to go anywhere else.

Anyways, back on topic!
Six of us went to the Brothers last night, every table taken which speaks volumes, I had a peppered steak and is was excellent and cooked as ordered which is a bonus.
Whenever we have friends out we always take them here at least once.   :)

Just arrived home from Calis and ate at the Brothers four times during our stay, breakfast good as usual, good bacon and sausages and a free coffee refill.  Had steak in tomato and onions, very nice, beautifully cooked.  Baklava to die for!!
