I couldn’t give two hoots!  We shall be out for the day, avoiding television!  Can’t stand all the fawning and speculation.  I don’t equate love of the Windsors with patriotism.

I like Meghan, and hope the marriage lasts but have my doubts.   Went off the Royal family after the dreadful way they treated Diana.   Will probably watch the wedding though - just feel the Royals are such a cold bunch.

With the chaos that seems to be going on with Thomas Markle it is going to be quite an uncertain situation.I am going to be having a look at the wedding through the day if I am not doing anything else.I do hope that Meghans dress is lovely and the weather is good. The first royal wedding I watched was Princess Margaret .My mother worked for Norman Hartnell and sewed a lot of the crystals on to the Queens wedding dress before I was born a few years later.I love to see so many people having a good time around London on occasions like this.I am quite aware it is elitist but still enjoy the day.

So Markle comes from a dysfunctional family. She'll fit in well with the Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg lot.

No interest in it at all. Will be on my way to Featherstone to watch the Leigh Centurions give them a good hiding at Rugby League. Far more entertaining.

Here is the Radio News. Russia has invaded Poland ... North Korea has landed an astronaut on the moon ... a living Tyrannosaurus Rex has been found in Greenland ... but now back to the main story for the next couple of hours - the Royal Wedding.
