New SIM card
« on: August 04, 2020, 07:59:49 AM »
Soo my Turkish Mobile has been cut off as we were away 6 months plus, I’m guessing a lot of folk will find themselves in this situation on returning to Turkey, can anyone tell me a rough cost of a new SIM card please so I know what to expect.
Many thanks   :)

Some time ago I went into the Turkcell shop and explained, mine was about 2 years out of date, the guy there not only reinstated my sim card but included the credit which was on it,cost me an extra few contors, sic,May be this could happen to you, If you are in Calis might be worth having a word with Mehmet in the phone shop along from where the Meri Bar used to be

Make sure your UK phone isn't restricted to a particular service provider.

My UK phone is dual sim & unlocked to any network, just wary of Turkish authorities blocking it if I use a Turkish sim

I find Mehmet very helpful and he’s helped us out the last couple of years when we’ve had issues 👍.
