A lady friend of mine posted on Facebook the other day, to say she got wolf whistled as she walked from her car. She noted that it hadn't happened in years and far from being an outdated sexist gesture, it had "made her day".
So if we see a pretty lady walking, what are we supposed to do these days 8)

those were the days when i was wolf whistled at .
it did not bother me at all "
one day my friend and i was shopping in Liverpool and we walked passed this building site, some one shouted "hey lily savage"
i shouted back" sorry not me i have no balls"my friend and i collapsed with laughter she said i was terrible for shouting back.

I think how it's received is down to the confidence of the woman, too.
Some are embarrassed because they are shy or, if they are insecure about how they look, they think the whistler is taking the p***.
Personally it doesn't bother me - if there are "comments" instead of or as well, I can give as good as I get. ("Show us yer t**s, love." "Only if you show me your b***s first."
As others have said, these days I'm pleased if I'm worth whistling at! ;D
