Title: The Big Question
Post by: Colwyn on March 01, 2016, 18:15:11 PM
In June the UK faces a big decision about EU membership (I have made my feelings about this known elsewhere). But, for the moment, I am more concerned with a issue over which I will have no say. Is it actually possible that the most powerful position in the world can be handed over to Donald Trump? Tonight the results of the "Super Tuesday" primaries will be in. Tomorrow morning we will know how many more states have supported DT. I doubt that it will be good news for sanity.

If in doubt, just resort to childish humour  :)

What is Donald Trump telling Barack Obama supporters?
Orange Is The New Black.

What's the only thing that can stop Donald Trump?
A Cruz missile.

What does Melania see in Donald Trump?
Ten billion dollars and high cholesterol!

Why shouldn't Donald Trump rag on illegal immigrants?
Because an undocumented worker has been living on his head for the past 2 decades!

Why is Donald Trump always seen with Melania?
Because all his other wives support Hilary.

Why doesn't Melania Trump want to be the first lady?
Because she would have to move into a smaller house.

What did Donald Trump do before criticizing illegals?
He made sure his pools were clean and his lawns were mowed.

I haven't heard a single, workable policy come from him or his supporters. Not fiscal, domestic or foreign.

Hilary Clinton v Trump for the top job? Looks a likely outcome.

Better they put a referendum to the country to become a British Colony again.

At least our armed forces swear allegiance to the Queen rather than an elected (megalomaniac billionaire) President.

I'm sure there are African nations with a more stable President than Trump would be.

It's a very real possibility that he will become President - I wonder what he would instruct his armed forces to do first?

No matter who is elected the next president and it may well be Trump. You can bet whoever is PM of this country they will want to be their very very best friend.Just like it always has been.We have to much to lose by losing America as close allies.

I would assume that many of you who use Facebook may have already seen this. It's 21 minutes long but well worth a watch.
Funny but with a serious message. (some bad language)

Given the Americans attitude to guns and gun ownership perhaps they deserve Donald. The guy's a dangerous joke.

So, Trump versus Clinton now looking inevitable unless something very dramatic happens.

They're both knocking 70 so health may become an issue.

"If Hillary can't satisfy her husband, how can she satisfy America?"  - what a statesman (pun intended) Trump's going to be.

Those disillusioned with twelve years of Hillary's involvement at the top end of US politics may well vote for change - any change.

I can imagine President Trump on missions to Syria, Turkey, Russia, China - even North Korea!

Anybody seen Will Hay in "Oh, Mr. Porter"?

If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny.
