Title: Turkey Breast
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on October 29, 2014, 13:45:49 PM
We where going to buy some chicken in the Calis Market and the guy said they had Turkey. (Hindi).  I totally forgot I was in Turkey and asked the woman behind the counter for two breasts.  When she held them up they turned out to be two whole turkey crowns i.e. the whole of the turkey breast, not just half.  I quickly asked for just one.  It was 18 lira.
The breast was so huge I cut into four.  We had three meals out of it and still had a lot over, which the local stray cats got.
I know in the Supermarkets in the U.K. Turkey Crowns can be up to and over £25.00. each.
I can throughly recommend the market Hindi it was lovely and not dry at all.
If anyone is going over for Christmas, this would be an ideal Christmas dinner.    ;) :D

Hindi göğsü was often so cheap when we were out there that I used to buy it as dog food.

We have a few corgis in the U.K. and I think the Footman feeds them caviar, but I would have to check that with the Butler.   ;) ;D :P

I've heard he buys the caviar in Aldi, or is that just a load of balls ?  ;)
