Sorry Keith must be my age BUT I haven't altered anything since the "members on line" was previously displayed and I can't see how to change it in my profile.

It is not your age Ken - I have never changed mine and mine was the same status as yours - so we must blame the ITController - maybe it is his age !!!!!! :D :D

Ps I have also changed my picture but it still shows me as a grumpy old git!!

Always the oldies eh

Ken: If you look for the part of your profile that looks just like the bit above ("Show on active users") and change the drop down from NO to YES, that is amazingly how you choose whether to show in active users or not. The previous avatar modification is gone and dead, so if you had a photo you want to use, this will need to be changed from "None" to "Kenkay", in the other profile section mysteriously called "Avatar" .

Ian: If you look at your profile you will see that the photo you are changing is called "My picture", whereas the avatar one that is displayed next to your posts is cunningly called "Avatar". It would logically follow that changing your "My Picture" will not change your "Avatar" as they are entirely different things.

Love

Old ITController

It's no secret that if you want an avatar you need to send it to me to add. You sent yours to me to add, but that was so long ago you have forgotten  ;)

OK - you win - but just to make it clear to everyone (who may not know) if you look at:

http://{A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}19065&SearchTerms=avatar - you will see how to get your picture on the forum

(Keith is using one from 1992)  ;)

Could the loss of members on line facility be down to adding an Avtar? I lost mine since adding an Avtar but following Keith's instructions it was easy enough to put it back :)

No!

The two are entirely unrelated. There is no loss of the members online feature, it is there!!!
