oludeniz web cams
« on: November 25, 2005, 15:14:38 PM »
When I was browsing the internet a couple of months ago I noticed on one of the sites a advertisment for a webcam, viewing Oludeniz seafront. The site also boasted three or maybe four other webcams in and around the area.
The trial view was really poor I admit this was at night. There was a subscription to be made in order to view the others. At the time and i still do think it a great idea. Although Julie and i have been out to the apartment 3 times this year, it would be nice to see whats going on in variuos resorts, while sat here at work. Does anyone know of this, and do other resorts offer this facility.
best wishes.
Tony

There was one in the Forum Bar but there were a few teething problems and I think it has been down for some time now. ( unless anyone knows different [?] ). It would be nice to see it up and running again. :) You could see what other members are up to while you are slaving away at work:D

I can recommend the Sugar beach Club. Used to be Bob's Beach. Loads of money spent over last winter to create a really relaxing atmosphere. The website doesn't do it justice:www.sugarbeachclub.com.tr

Mike just click on the logo with the pencil on it when you want to edit. We have spent many happy hours at Bobs beach and it looks great now. My only complaint would be that there isn't much parking space there now, we went down in June and ended up going further on because there was nowhere to park (not without quite a walk back anyway). It is gorgeous there though.

what is the sea like though? I find the Genc beach sea a bit cloudy and not too pleasant! Prefer to walk along until the water becomes a bit clearerand cooler.

Grimrod: I can only comment on the sea during the day we were there, but it was very clear, and the kids were happy to swim 200 metres or so across the bay. I don't swim, but from the shore, you could see clearly to the sea bottom.
