storm of 1987
« on: October 16, 2007, 15:27:29 PM »
We were snuggled up in bed with the children, no electricity, listening to storm raging when we heard loud music and noticed coloured lights flashing, our local milkman Dave had found his way through the chaos to deliver milk, bread etc his float was lit up like Santa's grotto.  Mr. B grabbed a dressing gown and went down to see Dave and find out the extent of damage in the village on his return by torch light we all suddenly realised he was wearing my cerise pink dressing gown and very fetching he looked toooo.: :) what a picture his face was  :-\ Needless to say the children both put it in their schoolbooks, being without electricity for 4 days paled into insignificance  :D:D:D:D
and Mr. B he now keeps his dressing gown on his side of the bed  ;)
