I am not a great fan of football (aka Association Football aka Soccer) but there are some people who rise above their sport and become memorable public figures. Brian Clough was one of these. In a few minutes they will be unveiling his statue in Nottingham. Apparently there are some of his most memorable quotations on the plinth. I wonder what they will be. Never mind, the event has been an excuse for BBC Radio 5 to remind us of some of his great one-liners. Still brilliant after all these years.
