Partner Elaine works in Youth Advice/Health, even here in so called affluent Poole/Bournemouth area there are families like this, so this is not an isolated case, just the worst one to hit the headlines.

What I Should have said is ' we have children who reach this age never knowing a loving family life' not a 'whole generation' as quoted.

I May have exaggerated a bit, Point I am trying to make is, families like this are becoming more and more common.
