Charity collection bags

I have today received 2 charity collection bags, the type you put your unwanted items in and put outside for collection on the nominated day.
These 2 bags now make a total of 5 this week, all for different charities. Its a pity the organisers cant get together and decide who will canvas what area and when. Times are hard, charities are suffering more than most in the financial downturn and it seems ludicrous that they are wasteing resources and money by flooding an area for donations at the same time.

I wouldn't leave anything out in bags, for scamming illegal immigrants from Eastern Europe to come and collect and profit from. If you have anything to give to charity, drop it into the shop.

I agree entirely with that.

The other evening we had two kids, a girl about ten and the boy no more than five at the door saying they were collecting for charity. Not an adult in sight. Easiest way was to ask them for identification. They simply ran off.

So if I start doling out charity bags in Fethiye for Fig I can presume i will be told where to put them?
The Turks would just fill them with household waste anyway
tried a reycle paper bin outside Fig shop, after 2 days I had to ask for it to be removed as Turks chucked their rubbish in. It Stunk!!

we have a metal recycle bin in the next street all my stuff goes on there

we have one outside the post office. I stopped putting stuff in ther when the ids told e that had seen one of the village kids cycling around wearing most of our clothes!
