So it's been announced that Rebekah Brooks is resigning as CEO of News International, a somewhat belated action. Although she still has a great number of questions to answer about her role and others in this sordid tale.
Mind you I think in going she is simply the latest fire break set up to protect the Murdoch Family. The Murdochs are acting like Churchill's description of appeasers before WW2, that this is throwing out your best friends one at a time in order to appease the crocodile!
Unfortunately she'll be back some time soon, and I suspect without an ounce of regret or shame ....
