Saw the butchery of the man on tv this morning. Whilst I accept that he was an utterly tyrannical despot, if the manner of his death is a portent of the so-called "democracy" that Libya is seeking, they can keep it !!

I disagree, you live by the sword you die by the sword, that man was responsible for 1,000s of deaths in Libya and around the world all full bloodied savagery.
Those people have lived under this tyrant for 40 years you cannot begin to imagine the horrors they have seen to friends and families and I dont think you should try, if this be there release then let it happen.

An emotive subject on which we will disagree Tink. But surely if we are attempting to export our democratic values, these must include everyone being entitled to a court trial.

We had a prime minister Andy, who along with his sugar daddy george w bush was responsible for 100,s of our soldiers being killed in Iraq does,nt he belong in a sewer and be shot.

He's dead and I, for one, couldn't care less how he died. I am just glad he is. Why spend a fortune on Courts etc, he was an evil, despicable man.
