The Thunder clappy things were in the first edition of The Topper.. The teachers at our school were going mad as all the kids had them at playtime... The comics had good free gifts in them in those says..

Between us 4 kids we used to get the Dandy, Beano, Topper and Beezer. I then moved on to Bunty.  I also had an old Oor Wullie annual but I think my son may have put it in the skip last year!! Aargh!!
