Yes Durmus ran the Birlik. Sounds like he's moved on.

We used to use the Birlik then, when we had a villa on Telmessos, thats when Ram worked there and he now owns and works at the 24 Burger bar in Calis

Just got back. Brought back sun for 2 days sadly, now rain!!

Anyway, the Birlick has changed owners and is now called, The Merken bar & restaurant. Friends of ours who live permanently at Telmessos recommend the food. Apparently one of the best, biggest & reasonable mixed grills they've ever had - they were to stuffed they could'nt manage a dessert. The new owners have also put new plasma tv's in especially for the footie & like the Birlick have just started having Turkish nights.

In between the Sunset 1 & Sunset 2 is the new 5*hotel. They were working around the clock to get it open on time & did it!. The outside bar area is built on Stilts & are still standing after the quake.

Apparently, between the Sunset 2 & Surf Shack another 5*Hotel is in the planning! Also, big plans to develop the swap land adjacent to the Telmessos complex - plans can be seen at the Ciflik Belvedere

Howe,

Do you mean the new boat yard or is there some other plan in place? Not heard anything else going on around Telmessos area.

Cheers

There seems to be a lot of groundwork going on at the moment. I hear the hill behind Dephnie's has been removed and I know Saglik is having the road raised yet again. Lots of mess and noise which really shouldn't be happening this time of year.
