Mike a great choice.  My particular favourite Aretha number is Don't Play That Song for me, seen excellently performed here for the BBC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA1MyP_JiPI&feature=related

This song was co-written by Ahmet Ertegun, and when someone says something silly to you about the Turkish contribution to western music, tell them to take a look at this man's work as an original founder of Atlantic Records, and the 'engine room', to use a football parlance, of the organisation both musically and in business terms.
