Fethiyespor lost for the first time in 5 games as they were defeated 1-0 at Zonguldak this afternoon. The game was lost for Fethiye during a 3 minute spell in the first half. On 32 minutes Fethiye right-back Medini Bingol received a second yellow card [just 3 mins after receiving his first ] and was sent off. Then on 35 mins Zonguldak took the lead through their top scorer Emre Kara and that's the way the game stayed.
Fethiye remain 14th in the table as none of the teams in the bottom half of the league won today, and with 6 games remaining they are still 5 points clear of the relegation zone.
No games next weekend due to the local elections. Fethiye have a home match a week on Wednesday when they face Kirklarelispor who are 4 places and 6 points above Fethiye in the table. Earlier in the season Kirklareli beat Fethiye 2-1.

Fethiyespor failed to win for the 3rd game in a row as they followed Wednesday's disappointing 2-0 home defeat with a 1-1 draw away at Bak Spor Kulubu in the capital yesterday afternoon. The hosts took the lead on 34 mins with winger Ahmet Sun scoring. Fethiye drew level just after the hour mark with Onur Garip scoring his first goal since breaking his leg last season.
However Fethiye had to play the last 25 mins with 10 men as midfielder Alican Karadag received a second yellow card, but they managed to hang on for a draw, their 14th this season. With 4 games left Fethiye are 15th in the table on 30 points, now only 1 point clear of the relegation zone.
Fethiye are at home next weekend to another team from Ankara, Etimesgut Belediyespor who  are 6th in the table, but 5 points adrift of a play-off place. Earlier this season the teams drew 1-1 in Ankara.

Fethiyespor lost for the 2nd home game in a row to increase their relegation worries as they were defeated 1-0 by play-off chasing Etimesgut Belediyespor this afternoon. Fethiye should have been 1-0 up on 37 mins when right back Recep Yilmaz charged into the penalty area but with only the keeper to beat, put his shot wide. Fethiye had to thank their young keeper Ubeyd Adiyaman as the 21 year old made 2 stunning saves at the end of the first half to keep the scores level.
It was much the same in the 2nd half with the keeper again denying the visitors on at least 3  occasions, but he could do nothing about the penalty kick awarded to Etimesgut following a clumsy challenge by Fethiye defender Fethi Ozer.
That defeat still leaves Fethiye 1 point clear of the relegation zone for now,but all the other teams at the bottom play tomorrow.
A tough away game next weekend as Fethiye travel to another play-off chasing side Manisa who are currently 3rd in the table.Earlier in the season Manisa won 2-0 at Fethiye.

This is how the table looks with just 3 games left to play. Only Tokatspor of the 3 teams below Fethiyespor managed to pick up any points yesterrday, drawing 1-1 at home with Bandirma.

Fethiyespor today parted company with their Technical Director Tarik Dasgun following on from Saturdays home defeat. He had been in charge for 25 games this season but won only 5 of them, and with just 3 games of the season left, Fethiye are 1 point clear of the relegation zone.
Fethiyespor have now appointed former boss 53 year old Mustafa Ceviz  to take over for the last 3 games. Ceviz previously managed the club from November 2012 to November 2013.

Fethiyespor produced possibly their best result of the season as they won 2-1 at play-off chasing Manisa. The hosts took the lead on 28 mins but Fethiye levelled after 37 mins when midfielder Alican Karadağ scored his 3rd goal of the season. The winner came from defender Fethi Ozer who scored in the 66th min to hand Fethiye their first away win since early February.
Fethiye move up to 14th in the league but are still just 1 point from the relegation zone as 2 of the bottom 3 teams won yesterday. A crucial home game next weekend when Fethiye take on 7th placed Pendik, who Fethiye thrashed 4-1 earlier in the season.
