I am desperately trying to locate Yusuf Yildirim who seems to have gone to ground.  If anyone knows where I can contact him or knows where his office is please could they let me know asap. Many thanks

Hi Scunner, unfortunately not.  Eden Estates in Olu Deniz have been selling his properties, he was awarded the Harbour Project  but that is all I can tell you.  He just went under the name of 'Yildirim' construction.

When will people learn that it is better to buy via an agent who will NOT take any monies upfront and only ask for any payment when the Tapu is in the buyers name and it has been checked thoroughly by a solicitor, such an agent is : http://www.assuredestate.com

Very helpful Crabbit!![:(!]  I 'bought' my villa nearly 4 years ago when everyone had to 'pay up front' to have the thing built! I moved in 18 months ago.  There is nothing (or very little) wrong with the villa, I have my land Tapu but he is baulking on finishing off the paperwork and getting my house Tapu sorted.  Until then I'm stuck with paying the utilities through him (I actually want to pay water, electrics and house tax! But I want to do it direct!).  This builder owes THOUSANDS all over the place and is not paying Tedas, water, Belediye etc.  A lot of us in Uzumlu have the same problem so if anyone can help it would be brilliant.  BUYERS BEWARE
