Post by: icmeler06 on November 06, 2007, 12:51:16 PM
My Daughter has just moved to turkey to live and her Uk insurance runs out 9/11/2007.  Can anybody advise where or who she can get in contact with there to arrange a yearly insurance policy she is living in Icmeler near Marmaris

Hi not sure if we can do that as she took a 90 day holiday insurance here before she went for the summer, but now she is going to live in turkey.

Prob arranged something by now but we visited AXA regarding health/life insurance.
There offices are in Fethiye down a side street (not too familar with the area but it was near a bookshop and toyshop).
From what I remember we were quoted about £900 for myself, my husband and our daughter.  It was a very comprehensive policy though.

Hi Sludge,we are moving to Fethiye in March and ive looked at AXA,S web site, they offer 3 levels of cover Standard,Comprehensive and Prestige what one did you go for?Did you find it cheaper to take it out in Turkey rather than with AXA in the UK?
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

We have taken medical insurance out in Turkey via Barris in Fethiye, there are 3 levels to suit. The cost will vary with age, illnesses etc; suggest you review via Search. 8)
