does anyone know whether you can buy valium tablets from any of the chemist's in Turkey? thanks in advance as always.

you need a green prescription which means you have to persuade the doctor that you realy need them i would go to the chemist on the corner in fethiye op migros and he will send you to the govenment doctor who will prob charge you 50tl to write the prescription as opposed to some of the rip of private doctors

If you need something to help you sleep you can get Unisom tablets for about 1 1/2 lira a packet, they are very good, only need half a tablet to get you relaxed and off to sleep.  They will sell them at any Chemists in the Fethiye/Calis area.

Cheaper to pay the UK £7.20 prescription charge!

I was sent to the government doctor by the chemist mentioned and wasn't charged anything.The doctor was very pleasant and although he spoke little english understood my request for a repeat prescription.
