Thanks for sharing.  This will be welcomed by ex pats and people like us who split our time between the UK and Turkey and who have paid NI contributions all our working lives.

Sounds like some common sense coming into play - it would also be good to acknowledge "a lifetime's contribution" - say 30 years plus - as giving you equal entitlement for everything - inc heating allowance etc.  >:D

What makes you think that?   The way I understand it is if you have paid in for 10 years you are entitled to free NHS care

But you have to be fıt to travel to get the free NHS care and waıt for the treatment. You cant travel ıf you have had a heart attack. Here ıt ıs easy to see a doctor and gettıng treatment needed ıs ımmedıate. I wıll carry on wıth Turkısh SGK ıt works for me but thanks Mr Cameron for your kınd offer.
