Whatever happened to

Dennis Davey, over the years I have seen a lot of different acts doing there thing from Elvis to Rod and everything in between but Dennis was one of the first I saw and just wondered what ever happened to him

Used to watch him in the old Pines in the road from the "Upside Down Bridge". Good memories, he  certainly knew how to make a party rock! Happy days.

Was never my thing but my mother loved to listen to him I think it was the orient restaurant some years ago she still asks if he's about reminded me of the old working men's clubsof 30 years ago

Dennis went back to UK to live ages ago and I seem to remember someone telling me he had health problems .His daughter...who was also a good singer still lives here I think . I met her in the market last year.

Dennis went back to UK approx 7/8 years ago due to ill health, his daughter Lisa used to sing along side him sometimes, yes he played in the Orient every Thursday night and the place was bouncing, it is the only" live entertainment" at that time as I remember. Old club singer does spring to mind.

I still speak with Denis regularly, we are friends on Facebook. He's still entertaining in the pubs and clubs in the Plymouth area. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet
